EFRAG published the VSME standard in December 2024, and the European Commission adopted it as a recommendation on 30 July 2025. The basic module is usually enough for a small company. The comprehensive module adds strategy, climate risks and more detailed workforce information, useful when a bank or a large customer asks for it.

They're used for your report and nothing else. We never use them to train AI models.
